Great experience, friendly and welcoming owner, delicious food and great desserts, what more can you ask for! We had a seat at the bar and we really loved the atmosphere, big portions and great value. Don't forget to try some port wine and we definitely recommend the desserts!

absolutely great experience. The atmosphere, the place and the most important - the food were fantastic! we ordered 3 dishes and we didn't expect that they will be so big! Real Portuguese food, fresh ingredients and very good prices! I recommend for 100 %, especially the meat stew with beans. This lunch made our day and the full impression of local food. Thanks for your work guys!

The roasted ham shank was good, so is the pig cheek in red wine. A cozy little restaurant with good food and atmosphere. I however didn't like the creme brulee, it could be better, but just my opinion.

Decided on this booking through trip advisor Definitely book in advance as it fills very quickly. Small quirky Portuguese bistro with authentic Portuguese cuisine We went for the pork belly and pork cheek with rice and potato’s that was divine and so tender to cut Desert was the chocolate mousse that definitely didn’t disappoint This paired with a few cold superbocks marked the perfect start to a Saturday evening. Will definitely recommend to anyone who decides to holiday in Porto

We had heard great things about this restaurant, so we decided to give it a try! The food was good, though quite heavy with very large portions. It might just be that we didn’t choose the best dishes for the season—on a very hot summer day, the stew-based menu felt a bit too rich, and we couldn’t finish our plates. Service was friendly and efficient, and we definitely recommend booking a table in advance.

A cozy tavern with a real homey atmosphere. If you come with a group, it’s best to book a table in advance, but if you’re alone, there’s always a spot at the lively bar. The food is amazing – the meat was so tender it literally fell off the bone. Desserts were also excellent, especially the chocolate mousse and crème brûlée. The staff work very quickly, and the manager, who speaks five languages, makes the atmosphere even more welcoming. Definitely recommend this place!
